This is an early Gibson Kalamazoo MONA-STEEL Strings box. It came from the factory with 12 third strings, but now has 5 left (strings are new in the wax paper packets). I assume they were third G strings??
These are for "electric Hawaiian guitar." - it says on the strings themselves. "Third string plain"
