THOMASTIK 27, single cello string D 4/4 Superflexible, universal cello string, used for learning as for more experienced instrumentalists. Superflexible strings combine all the features of honey-designed violin strings as well as the features of classical strings. Known for responsiveness and lifespan and resistant to all environmental influences. The massive core was replaced by a construction made of braided steel threads. This reduces the stiffness of the string and improves its elasticity. The superflexible strings are incomparably responsive and its tone seems to literally represent the properties of the instrument, without all the side distractions in the sound itself.
