Based in Bellevue, WA, Mike Lull’s guitars are prized for their no-corners-cut construction and premium componentry. The V model is Lull’s take on the 5-string Jazz Bass platform, and this V5 features a pair of Mike Lull Hand-Wound Jazz pickups, a Hipshot tremolo and tuners, a 21-fret birdseye maple fingerboard with a 12” radius, and a gloss Black Pearl finish.

Weighing 8lbs 13oz, an alder body and maple neck round out the tonewoods. The Mike Lull Hand-Wound Jazz single coil pickups feature black fiber bobbins, formvar wire, alnico magnets (staggered, beveled), and cloth-covered leads, delivering quintessential Jazz Bass tonalities. There’s ample growl, presence, and midrange aggression with the bridge pickup favored, and a full, woody sound with the neck pickup selected. This V5 Custom has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 45-132 roundwound strings, easy-playing action, and accurate intonation.
