The Sonor External Large Muffler Z 5112 is a fully professional external drum muffler, produced in Germany in the 1980s. This is a unique and very rare vintage piece on the secondary market. Designed to eliminate unwanted overtones, it can be mounted on any drum hoop, including snare drums and toms.
The muffler features a rotatable 7 cm head, an adjustable angle joint, and a wingnut screw for precise damping control, allowing customized sound control for studio or live settings.
