FENDER Jazz Bass model JB-62'-FL reissue, made in Japan in 1989 at the renowned Fuji-gen factory for FENDER. Sunburst 3TS finish, made famous by the late Jaco Pastorius and Marcus Miller.
Excellent craftsmanship, showcasing Japanese expertise.
Increasingly rare in the "no fret markers" version, even in Japan.
*Selected and imported by us from JAPAN*
Like many imported '62 reissues, it offers perfect feel and comfort thanks to the quality of its vintage amber finish. Immediate comfort and a slim neck: 38mm nut width.
Rare on the used market, and even more so for this model without fret markers.
Very good overall condition for its age, with minor marks of life. The bass has been played with great care (see photos for details).
Precise tone, excellent frequency response. Excellent sustain and resonance, premium basswood body: highly regarded in Japan for its perfect balance of clear highs, powerful mids, and warm lows, superb rosewood fretboard.
