A reverse dot design has been added to the EVANS original UV1 Coated series.

The UV1 series, which incorporates EVANS' unique coating technology, now includes a reverse dot design that offers greater durability and a more aggressive feel.
Its specifications include one ply of 10mil film with a 3mil patch placed in the center backside for added durability and focus.
EVANS' patented UV-cured coating provides unparalleled durability and consistent texture, offering exceptional strength and versatility for a wide range of musical applications.
Additionally, the 3mil center dot set on the back has a unique slot that allows the head to flex, increasing durability while maintaining an open sound.
Although it is a single-ply drum head, it has a design that pursues a wider range of sound-making possibilities.
Evans drumheads are designed and manufactured in the USA and feature Level 360 technology for easy tuning, extended pitch range, and optimal sound quality.
