Here for sale we have an Epiphone DC Pro in Mojave Fade finish. Made in China in 2019, this guitar features a set-neck construction comprising a Mahogany body with a AAA Flame Maple Veneer top, a Mahogany neck and 24 fret Pau Ferro fingerboard. Chrome hardware is fitted including a Tune-O-Matic bridge, StopBar tailpiece and a set of Grover tuning machines. This guitar comes loaded with a Epiphone ProBucker 3 in the bridge position and a Epiphone ProBucker 2 in the neck, these are wired to a 3-way toggle switch, Bridge Volume w/ push/pull coil-split, Bridge tone, Neck Volume w/ push/pull coil-split and a neck tone w/ push/pull Phase.
The Mahogany neck plays very well, with the Custom ‘C’ neck profile offering a smooth and responsive playing experience across the register. The Pau Ferro fretboard is pleasant under the fingers and the 12" radius is practical for both chordal and melodic playing styles. The double cutaway body design offers comfort in the arms, whilst allowing the player to have unobstructed access right to the 24th fret.
The pair of Epiphone ProBucker pickups installed in this guitar deliver thick and roaring tones, the neck is warm and round, with plenty of power to push your solo tones to the front of the mix or nicely fill out the frequency spectrum when comping. The bridge pickup is of course brighter and sharper, searing into a full-bodied distortion tone which is well suited to rock riffs and tight rhythm parts. The controls feel nicely responsive, allowing you to dial in your perfect tone whilst playing. The addition of the push/pull pots adds even more sonic versatility, with plenty of options from coil split for each pickup and a push/pull Phase control.
