Here for sale we have an Ernie Ball Music Man 2 EQ H Electric Bass in Black finish. Made in the USA in 2010, this bass consists of a Select Hardwood body, a Maple neck, and a 21-fret Rosewood fingerboard. Chrome hardware is fitted including a Music Man Classic 4-saddle string-through-body bridge with adjustable mute pads and a set of Music Man open-geared tuning machines. A single Music Man Humbucking pickup with Alnico magnets is installed, and is wired to an active preamp with master volume, treble and bass controls. 

The Maple neck plays very well, with a profile that might be described as a moderately-sized 'C' shape which sits comfortably in the hand and provides a smooth and responsive playing experience across the register. The satin finish to the rear assists with slick navigation of the 34" scale, and along with the generous cutaways ensures that access to the upper frets is a breeze.

The amplified tone of the StingRay 2 EQ is unmistakable as a Music Man. Since their introduction in 1976, StingRay basses have been sought after by players for their distinctive tonal character. There is a deep and rich low end growl, with punchy mids and a snappy treble response which blends perfectly into a wide range of musical settings; filling out the low end of the mix and capturing all the attack and sparkle of your playing. The on-board active preamp offers comprehensive control of your sound, with 2-band EQ and master volume controls which allow you to dial in your perfect tone right on the instrument.

Aesthetic Condition:

Headstock: Overall very good condition. The top edge of the edge of the headstock demonstrates scuff marks, with some white markings evident. All other aspects of the headstock demonstrate slight discoloration towards the edges.

Neck: Overall excellent condition. Any markings are difficult to discern. The finish to the rear of the neck has worn down to a satin feel which is comfortable underhand.

Body: Overall very good condition. The bass demonstrates a number of small chips and indentations however none can be considered significant. The most notable are located to the edge of the bass side upper horn on the front face and a number on the lower edge of the body. The rear face demonstrates light scratching and small indentations throughout.

Condition of Frets:

The frets demonstrate slight signs of previous use not affecting playability. There is substantial material remaining for any future fret work the new owner may wish to perform.

Truss Rod: Fully functional. Truss Rod Tool (Spoke Wheel) not included.

Hardware: Fully functional and very good condition.

Structural: No structural concerns to note.
