Here for sale we have a Yamaha FG730S in Sunburst finish. Made in China this guitar features a Spruce top with Rosewood back and sides, Mahogany neck and 20 fret Rosewood fingerboard. Other appointments include sealed tuning machines, Abalone rosette and tortoiseshell pickguard.

The Mahogany neck plays very well, with a profile which will suit the majority of players thanks to its moderate size and nicely rounded 'C' shape. The finish to the rear assists with smooth navigation of the 25.5" scale, whilst the Rosewood of the fingerboard adds a touch of luxury to the playing experience. A 14" radius is featured, and provides a playing surface which is practical for a wide range of styles and techniques. The smooth lines of the body are comfortable in the arms, and with an upper strap button the instrument is ready for either seated or standing positions. 

The acoustic voice of the Yamaha FG730S is bright and full-bodied thanks to its large body design. The Rosewood of the back and sides adds character and depth to the tone, whilst the Solid Spruce top provides brightness and a fast attack. The instrument projects very well, and provides a wide dynamic range which feels sensitive to the player's touch. You will certainly be surprised with the volume and brightness this guitar can produce.

Aesthetic Condition:

Headstock: Overall very good condition, both top rear corners demonstrate moderate indentation chipping the finish and revealing the wood beneath. The front face demonstrates very light scratching visible only under direct lighting at certain angles.

Neck: Overall excellent condition, very light indentations can be seen to the rear of the neck visible under direct lighting at certain angles.

Body: Overall very good condition, all aspects of the body display moderate scratching. The front face demonstrates light to moderate indentations across the lower bout, most notably toward the treble side edge. Consistent scratching can be identified to both the bass and treble side upper bout, continuing down by the treble side waist. 

Condition of Frets:

The frets demonstrate light signs of use, with some indentation in the early register quickly improving as you climb the neck. This does not affect playability. There is considerable material remaining for future fret work.

Truss Rod: Fully functional. Truss rod tool (5mm hex) not included.

Hardware: Fully functional with light signs of wear.

Structural: No concerns or issues to note.
