Marshall lives and breathes distortion. It's where it's created, shaped, and projected. That's why expectations were high when the original Shredmaster was launched in 1991. It promised high-gain distortion, perfect for saturated rhythms and searing solos. Offering new levels of distortion, the original Shredmaster was used on numerous tracks in the late '90s. Demand for the Shredmaster's distinct, thrashy sound skyrocketed, but the pedal remained hard to find. With this authentic and faithful reissue, that will no longer be a problem.
Guitarists will be able to hold an exact reproduction of the original Shredmaster. The components and features that made it so special have been carefully recreated for today's guitarists. The five-knob layout allows you to adjust gain, volume, and EQ. Unlike many distortion pedals, the Shredmaster features a Contour knob that works on the midrange without interfering with the other frequencies, allowing you to tighten or loosen the midrange to fine-tune the sound. It was designed and handcrafted at the famous Bletchley facility, where renowned amplifiers have been made for over 60 years.
