Here for sale we have a Gibson Songwriter Standard in Gloss Natural. Made in the USA in 2024 this acoustic guitar features a set-neck construction consisting of Rosewood back and sides with Spruce top, Mahogany neck and 20 fret Rosewood fingerboard. Other appointments include Mother-of-pearl Parallelogram inlays on the fingerboard, Multi-ply purfling around the top and Gold Grover tuning machines are fitted.

The Mahogany neck sits comfortably in the hand, with the 'Rounded' profile resembling a ‘D’ profile, providing ergonomic thumb positioning in all registers allowing for easy navigation up and down the neck. The Rosewood fretboard feels pleasant under the fingers and provides a smooth surface for the user to explore, along with the 12” radius making bending and vibrato techniques a breeze. The dreadnought design fills the arms, providing a dynamic and responsive playing experience, making the user feel the resonance that this guitar produces.

This guitar has a well-balanced and dynamic tone, producing a warm and rich sound, with a strong and clear midrange. The Solid Spruce top and Traditional Hand-scalloped bracing patterns contribute to the guitar's excellent projection and sustain, producing a bright and crisp high end that is well-articulated, whilst the Rosewood back and sides offer a warm and deep low end that make chords hum and chime.

Aesthetic Condition:

Headstock: Overall very good condition. Light indentations are present to the rear face top edge, these ave caused light delamination not exposing the wood beneath. Light scratching is present to the front face of the headstock, the most apparent of these can be seen near the crown inlay.

Neck: Overall excellent condition. Very light indentations can be seen to the 2nd fret of the fingerboard, these can not be felt in the playing position and can only be seen under close scrutiny. There is some discoloration on the bottom side of the nut.

Body: Overall excellent condition. All aspects of the body display light scratching which can only be seen under direct light, as is common with gloss finishes. End pin is missing and has left a hole. The hole left is too big for an end pin to be refitted as this had been widened for electronics by a previous owner.

Condition of Frets:

The frets demonstrate light signs of use, not affecting playability. Light denting of the frets is apparent to the early register. There is moderate material remaining for any fret work the new owner may wish to perform.

Current Set Up:

Truss Rod: Fully functional. Truss rod tool (5/16" socket) included.

Hardware: Overall excellent condition. All aspects of the hardware display light signs of past use. The end pin is missing has left a hole. The hole left is too big for an end pin to be refitted as this had been widened for electronics by a previous owner.

Structural: No concerns or issues to note.

Height of the string from the 12th Fret-1.25mm - Bass 2mm
