MINI P90 Mk II - HANDMADE STRAT SIZED NEODYMIUM MINI P90 PICKUP SET

Dedicated to guitarists who would like a high-performance set of P90s to install on their Strat without the need to modify their body or pickguard plate.

These pickups maintain the dimensions and bulk of a Strat single coil but, except for the reduced lateral dimensions, for the rest they have geometric, construction and largely timbre characteristics, similar to the classic P90 models. Obviously the pickups of this set boast better performances than the vast majority of other pickups available on the market (P90 and otherwise), thanks to their neodymium magnets, a material with magnetic characteristics that are clearly superior to those offered by ceramic magnets and any type of AlNiCo (try to trust!).

The enameled copper wire is AWG 44 (thickness 0.050 mm).

DC resistances of the pickups (Rs): NECK 11.4 Kohm; MIDDLE 11.8 Kohm; BRIDGE 12.6 Kohm.

Pole spacing: NECK 50 mm; CENTER 50 mm; BRIDGE 52 mm.

The pickup coils were wound by guiding the wire by hand, then soaked in a mixture of paraffin and beeswax (3:1 weight:weight ratio), to ensure that they maintain the right degree of elasticity and therefore immunity to the triggering of annoying whistles.

The pickup cables are shielded. Every single pickup has been tested.
