Bridge City Sound Boost

Portland, Oregon is Bridge City Sound's home. They love it there. Why? For a lot of reasons. They have some of the most beautiful scenery coupled with one of the most eclectic music scenes in the country. It’s weird there. They want to celebrate that by dedicating an equally interesting piece of equipment to it.

So, here’s a BOOST.

This effect was created before they even had the company name. Before the fuzz, or the amp, or even the logo….It existed in their hearts. The BOOST combines JFET, MOSFET and GERMANIUM technology to achieve some of the most useful and interesting tones ever heard from a drive pedal.

The Texture knob is a bias control for the first gain stage. It is designed to add a bit of germanium grittiness that so many enjoy. With help from some JFETS, the signal is then routed to the tone stack. With the sweep of a knob you get a bassy and dark or chimey and bright. Finally, GAIN. This device will easily push the front end of any amp into clipping.
