KoAloha Ukuleles was founded in 1995 by Alvin Okami. Currently, it is run by a small, elite team led by his eldest son and president, Alan, and his second son and vice president, Paul. KoAloha has become one of Hawaii's leading ukulele manufacturers. It is characterized by its modern look and design, excellent playability, and a high-fidelity, clear sound, and above all, its loud volume, unlike other manufacturers. This instrument is a concert model, the KCM-10 MG, with a satin finish. It features a mango wood body, mahogany neck, and ebony fingerboard and bridge. Compared to Hawaiian koa wood, it produces a lighter, airier sound. The concert size offers a wide range of playing possibilities and is suitable for various genres. A Protec lightweight case is included.
