Here for sale we have an Epiphone Les Paul Custom 'Black Beauty' Electric Guitar in Ebony finish. Made in China in 2006, this guitar consists of a Mahogany body, a Mahogany neck, and a 22-fret Rosewood fingerboard. Other appointments include a Tune-o-matic bridge, a Stopbar tailpiece, Gold hardware, and Grover tuners. The pickups installed are three Alnico Classic Humbuckers that are wired to two volume controls, two tone controls, and a three-way pickup selector. 

The Mahogany neck sits comfortably in the hand, with the 'C' profile filling the hand without being too cumbersome, offering a smooth and articulate playing experience. The Rosewood fingerboard feels luxurious under the fingers and provides a smooth playing surface for the user to explore, along with the 12” radius and Medium Jumbo frets making bending and vibrato techniques a breeze. 

The Epiphone humbucker in the neck position sounds thick and full, with a rich low end great for rhythm tonalities. The Epiphone humbucker in the middle position provides a punchy, tight midrange great for chordal styles of playing whilst being able to cut through a mix. The Epiphone humbucker in the bridge position produces a clear and articulate top end, balancing very well with a punchy output, providing a great feel and clarity, allowing the player to achieve a wide variety of tones all at the fingertips.

Aesthetic Condition:

Headstock: Overall very good condition. Light to mild fine scratching is present to all aspects of the headstock which can be seen under direct light, the most prominent of these can be seen to the front face.

Neck: Overall very good condition. Light indentations are present to the rear of the neck, these are situated at the 3rd fret and can be felt slightly in the playing position. Light scratching is present to the rear of the neck across the register, these can only be seen under direct light and can not be felt in the playing position.

Body: Overall very good condition. All aspects of the body display light to mild scratching and scuff markings which can be seen under direct light. The most apparent of these can be seen scattered around the rear face, these are consistent with buckle rash from previous use. Light indentations are present to the lower bout rear face, these have not broken the finish and can only be seen under direct light.

Condition of Frets:

The frets demonstrate light signs of use, not affecting playability. There is considerable material remaining for any fret work the new owner may wish to perform.

Current Set Up:

Truss Rod: Fully functional. Truss rod tool (4mm hex) not included.

Hardware: Overall very good condition. All aspects of the metal hardware display light to moderate tarnishing and scratching of the finish, this most prominent to the pickup covers and bridge consistent with previous use.

Structural: No concerns or issues to note.

Height of the string from the 12th Fret-1.5mm - Bass 2mm

Strings on Guitar - 10-46

This guitar demonstrates mild fret noise which is mildly apparent when amplified. This noise does not affect sustain of notes, nor does it affect bending the notes. The new owner may choose to raise the action to alleviate this.
