Howdy. Up for sale is a nice Galson branded copy of the Gibson ES-330 guitar.

This guitar was MIJ by Matsumoku circa 1970. It is similar to the Aria 5102T model but a bit earlier. This guitar is cooler !

This model was only made from '69-'71. The guitar has a bit of a Gibson vibe. It has a cherry red finish and a cool looking mahogany neck. Most of these 330/335 copies have maple necks and sunburst finishes.

The specs are ES-330 Gibson-ish. This is a full hollowbody with a 24 3/4" scale. The neck profile is kinda of '59 sized that is pretty constant from top to bottom thickness wise. The nut width is about 1 10/16" .

The pickups are fauxbuckers so they are single coils. They are not as strong as a Gibson P-90. Everything is working an the guitar has been set up and cleaned.

Condition wise the guitar looks very clean. I think that it sat in a case for 50 years. There are a few dings on the back of the neck. There are some marks you can see at the headstock/neck joint but this is in the finish somehow from age. There isn't any kind of damage or crack. As for the body it only has a few little scratches. The neck joint and area around the neck pocket and neck pickup looks good. There are no structural problems or separations The few little dings give it a Reverb "very good".

I have another one of these that is branded Aria I play for fun. That one has some issues around the neck pocket. These guitars are lightweight and look cool so they are fun to have around.

The bridge is a decent looking ABR-1 style that is original to the guitar. The tailpiece is original too. The bridge studs don't have the tightest fit but I will see what I can do there. In the pics the guitar has been cleaned but not set up yet.t you want a closely accurate ES-330 copy consider something by the modern Epiphone company. This is more of a cool vintage Japanese guitar.

There is no case included in the sale. I will pack and ship it securely. I sell stuff as described or pictured no returns. If you can prove to me there is a glaring flaw with my description I may accept a return.
