Ibanez SRC6 WNF, built in 2017, normal fretboard – no multiscale
short scale bass VI with 30" scale length, works also as baritone
Player with few signs of wear, low action for fast playing,
Very little dings, dongs or scratches,
Stringed with gauge 100–80-60–45–34-24 to prevent fluttering of the E- and A-string,
which works just fine by adding more bass punch and warmth than the standard 84-Fender set.
The ball ends stick out a bit, because they do not fit into the ferrules, but this fact never disturbed or disrupted my playing and can be easily changed by setting it up with the standard Fender VI-set.
Active on-board equaliser Ibanez BEQ3 3-band EQ offers a multitude of sound possibilites.
