Guitar builder Rory Williams has a workshop in the Paraoanui Valley, surrounded by virgin forest and farmland, on the northernmost tip of New Zealand's North Island. He began making musical instruments in earnest in 1993, and has exhibited at numerous guitar shows.Currently, he has received high praise from guitar enthusiasts, players, and other luthiers around the world. This instrument is a cutaway model with an OOO size body named "Tui", which is the name of a New Zealand bird. European spruce top, Madagascar rosewood sides and back, Totara neck, ebony fingerboard and bridge, MacArthur ebony binding, Goto 510 gold pegs, and X-bracing. Madagascar kingwood is used for the front and back veneers of the head, and New Zealand paua is used for the glittering shell decorations. The bracing material is hollowed out with a design cut for tone control and weight reduction. The neck material is Totara from New Zealand, which is a good material comparable to Honduran mahogany. The body material is a combination of high-quality European spruce with evenly dense grains and dense Madagascar rosewood with black heartwood. The stable low range and gorgeous high range resonate in a well-balanced manner, allowing you to enjoy a pleasant tone. Since it was made in 2007, there are slight scratches on the paint, but overall there are no noticeable scratches and it is in very beautiful condition. Neck condition and setup are very good.
