This is a working vintage Lyricon II wind synthesizer. It is in great shape and was overhauled by the incredible David O’Brien. David has fixed all of my Lyricons so I am selling a few. It sounds great and is incredibly fun to play. I have been using Lyricons since 1981.
The Lyricon II was the final model produced by Computone in the late ’70s/early ‘80s and is the only Lyricon with a built-in 2 VCO/VCF/VCA analog subtractive synthesizer (the Lyricon I is an additive synthesizer). The console has a CV output port for 1V/oct pitch CV (key plus reed), and wind CV for control of external analog synthesizer, modulars, or conversion to MIDI.
Includes original power cable, Instruction Manual printout, and tuning instructions.
Instrument size, weight: 27” x 12” x 5.25”, 14 lbs. (68.6 cm x 30.48 cm x 13.3 cm, 6.35 kg)
