About this listing
Up for sale is a world-class George Massenburg Labs GML 8200 Series II 5-band parametric equalizer, complete with its dedicated external GML power supply. Purchased brand new and recently decommissioned from active service in a pro studio, this unit is in very good condition. It stands as the global industry-standard reference EQ for high-end mastering and mixing due to its unmatched sonic transparency and surgical precision. Condition & DetailsStudio History: Used with meticulous care in a smoke-free, climate-controlled professional recording environment. External Power Supply Included: This package includes the required external GML heavily-regulated power supply along with the multi-pin umbilical power cable. The external supply completely isolates AC line noise and heat away from the sensitive dual-channel audio chassis. Cosmetic Condition: Very good overall cosmetic shape, showing only minor rack scars on the chassis from normal studio mounting. The faceplate is exceptionally clean, unmarred, and fully legible. Knob Cosmetic Note: The unit is missing one small red plastic cap/face on one of the inner frequency/bandwidth knobs. This is entirely cosmetic; the metal pot stem is completely intact and functions perfectly. Functional State: 100% operational across all 5 bands on both channels. Every precision pot and active filter section sweeps cleanly.Ships securely packed, double-boxed, and fully insured.
