The Marcus Miller Sire Z7 5-String represents the higher-tier model in Sire’s Z-Series lineup, designed for players seeking a modern instrument with classic groove, powerful humbucker tone, and boutique-level features.

Inspired by iconic ’70s bass designs, the Z7 features the new Sire Z-Bass body shape, offering improved ergonomics with a comfortable forearm contour and balanced feel. Built with an Alder body, it delivers a tight low end with clear mids and articulate highs.

At the core of this instrument is the Sire Premium J+MM pickup configuration, combining a Jazz-style neck pickup with a Music Man-style bridge humbucker. This setup provides everything from smooth vintage tones to aggressive modern punch.

The Marcus Heritage-3 active preamp with mid-frequency control allows precise tonal shaping, giving players full control over their sound in both live and studio environments.
