Here's a very special guitar from the traditional Irish manufacturer. The Lowden S50 Winter Limited Edition was built in 2021 in a limited run of only 25 instruments. We are delighted to present number 16 from this strictly limited series!

This model features some very special tonewoods. Rare Sinker Guatemalan Rosewood is used for the back and sides. The top is made of Master Grade Alpine spruce. The body is bound with highly figured Fiddleback Mahogany. The comfortable armrest is also made of this material. Mahogany from old church pews was used for the neck. The list of components leaves nothing to be desired!

In terms of sound, the Lowden S50 Winter Edition is in a class of its own. Its small body has a surprisingly substantial depth, which creates a beautiful volume despite its compact size. It sounds very balanced and has a silky-smooth tone with excellent string separation. Melodic fingerpicking becomes a pure pleasure. Even moderately strummed chords can be beautifully produced. Everything is accompanied by gentle overtones. A truly comforting sound!

Anyone looking for a very special, small, and intimate guitar should definitely take a look at this rare piece. Visually, you'll be rewarded with rare woods, earthy tones, and perfect craftsmanship. Sonically, you can lose yourself in its sound.

Its condition is almost like new, with only minimal signs of wear on the headstock. It has been inspected, restrung, and perfectly set up by our luthier!
