I am offering a Lakewood J-14-12 Custom from 2021, a made in the Lakewood Custom Shop in Gießen, Hesse (Germany), handcrafted, all solid timber 12-string acoustic guitar with a voluminous jumbo design, fine-grained “AAA” European spruce top, back and sides made of mahogany, set-in cedro neck with “C” neck profile and 48mm bone nut, fine ebony fingerboard with mother-of-pearl dot inlays, ebony bridge with bone inlay and ebony bridge pins incl. mother-of-pearl eye and high-quality Lakewood Pro Tune I mini chrome tuners in a beautiful open-pore silk matte natural finish with various decorations made of precious woods in absolutely mint condition, including Lakewood Hiscox hardshell case, manufacturer's papers, and professional setup with 10-47 Elixir strings.

The Lakewood J-14-12 Custom is an impressive example of German guitar craftsmanship, combining traditional craftsmanship with tonal perfection. Its voluminous jumbo design produces a powerful yet balanced, transparent sound, characterized by the combination of the finest AAA European spruce top and mahogany body. While the spruce top provides brilliance and dynamics, the mahogany delivers a warm, earthy depth—the ideal blend for a 12-string acoustic guitar with great volume and fine response.

The one-piece cedro neck with its slim “C” profile and low string action offers high playing comfort even with barre chords, while the deep black ebony fingerboard guarantees direct sound transmission and smooth playability. The fretboard with mother-of-pearl dot inlays, the bound mahogany rosette, and the multi-layer maple bindings round off the elegant overall appearance.

Visually, the guitar impresses with its open-pore, silk-matt natural finish, which highlights the natural character of the tonewoods. High-quality Lakewood Pro Tune I mini tuners ensure precise tuning stability, while the ebony bridge and bridge pins with mother-of-pearl inlays lend the instrument an elegant touch.

This Lakewood J-14-12 Custom is in absolutely mint condition and is technically flawless. It also looks brand new with no visible wear whatsoever (see pictures). The frets are immaculate.
