The new Tom DeLonge Starcaster is a joint creation of Fender and Tom DeLonge, the legendary songwriter, singer, guitarist and co-founder of Blink-182. The semi-hollow offset body made of maple and the neck made of roasted maple are securely and stably connected to each other thanks to quadruple bolting. The rosewood slab fingerboard has a 12" radius, is fitted with 22 medium jumbo frets and is connected to a 42 mm wide synthetic bone nut. The artwork on the headstock and neck plate, specially designed by Tom DeLonge, gives this Starcaster a personal touch. Whether for the typical Blink-182 sound or simply for powerful and characterful lines, the Tom DeLonge Starcaster is an enrichment for any guitar collection thanks to its power.

The SH-5 Duncan Custom Humb ucker, handmade in California, delivers tight basses, a distinctive crunch, pressure in the upper mids and airy highs. In combination with the semi-hollow offset body, it provides powerful chords and strong riffs that come through cleanly in the Mix, whether clean or extremely distorted. Thanks to its ingenious inner workings, the Tom DeLonge Starcaster gets by with just a single volume control, true to the motto: "Maximum sound with minimum effort". Even when the volume is turned down, the integrated treble bleed connected to the volume control preserves the entire treble spectrum, allowing the crystal-clear, clean sounds to come into their own.

Thanks to a block of wood in the middle of the semi-hollow body, it has more mass, which strengthens the Attack and intensifies the articulation. In addition, the wing-shaped openings improve the resonance behavior and make the sound more voluminous. The C-profile neck is made of heat-treated maple, is very stable and provides a comfortable, pleasant playing feel thanks to its pleasant curve.

The tuning pegs on the Fender Deluxe Staggered Cast/Sealed Locking machine heads installed here are slightly offset in height, resulting in the ideal contact angle for each individual string. Together with the freely adjustable bridge, this not only ensures a high degree of individualization, but also enormous tuning stability. The tuners also impress with an ideal gear ratio and quick and easy string changes.
