The limited edition Tama AW-456 Artwood Birch Mastercraft Snare 14 "x6.5" is a reissue of the popular snare from the 80s in the original design. The birch shell with the popular Artwood inlay has a thickness of 9 mm with six layers of wood and is equipped with a solid die-cast hoop (10 holes). A special feature is the One Touch Control internal mute, which delivers the perfect vintage sound. Ten original Superstar lugs and the matching Superstar badge round off the design.
The Superstar badge underlines the fact that this snare belongs to the renowned Tama family and symbolizes the quality and tradition associated with this instrument. The roller action lift-off guarantees smooth and precise operation of the carbon steel long snare carpet, which ensures a sensitive response and a dynamic sound. The high-quality range is completed by a REMO® Ambassador Coated skin with Tama logo, which not only ensures excellent sound development, but also rounds off the aesthetic appearance of the snare.
