The Gibson Hummingbird Standard Vintage Sunburst Dreadnought has been inspiring people with its unique design and versatile sound characteristics since the 1960s. To this day, musicians are particularly fond of the short-scale square-shoulder Western guitar because it is extremely comfortable to play and produces a warm, midrange-rich sound that is ideal for vocal accompaniment. The guitar's namesake and most important accessory is the generous tortoise pickguard, which is decorated with a hummingbird and floral ornaments. The guitar comes with a sturdy case.

Thanks to its all-solid construction consisting of a Sitka spruce top and a mahogany body, the Hummingbird produces a very defined and balanced tone that unfolds quickly and over a wide area due to a flat scalloped X-bracing. The round mahogany neck, in combination with a short 628 mm scale length, can be gripped obligingly in all 20 frets. In addition, a rosewood fingerboard that measures 43.8 mm at the nut provides ample room to easily master even complex fingering patterns.

High-quality Grover Rotomatic nickel tuners are set into the characteristic headstock and guarantee precise tuning of the 6 steel strings. Furthermore, a compensated bridge inlay and a saddle made of GraphTech TUSQ ensure clean intonation over the entire scale. A high-quality L.R. Baggs pickup system rounds off the entire work and also ensures reinforced a natural sound, which can be individually adjusted via a control unit in the soundhole.
