The Epiphone Matt Heafy Les Paul Custom Origins 7-String Bone White marks the third signature model in the successful collaboration between Epiphone and the frontman of the Florida metal institution, Trivium. Based on the classic LP Custom design, this 7-string electric guitar not only delivers a timelessly elegant aesthetic, but also features playability and sound characteristics perfectly tailored for modern metal. The Modern Weight Relief and fast "SpeedTaper D" neck ensure top-tier handling, while the active Fishman Fluence Custom Series Matt Heafy pickups offer a rich range of both classic and contemporary metal tones. High-quality hardware, including a LockTone Tune-O-Matic bridge with a matching Stopbar and stable Grover Locking tuners, rounds out the Matt Heafy Les Paul Custom Origins Bone White by Epiphone.

In designing the Les Paul Customs Origins 7-String, Matt Heafy and Epiphone focused on striking the perfect balance between the traditional "Tuxedo Look" and playability optimized for the demanding techniques of modern metal. The Modern Weight Relief of the mahogany body makes it far more comfortable to perform during long, action-packed shows, while the Axcess Heel at the back provides unrestricted access to the highest registers. The flat "SpeedTaper D" profile of the glued mahogany neck ensures effortless playability, so complex riffs and solos can be executed with ease on the 22-fret ebony fingerboard. The extended 25.5" scale length (648 mm) also guarantees a clean, clear response across all seven strings, even in lower tunings.

As pickup on the Epiphone Les Paul Custom Origins 7-String naturally Matt Heafy's Fishman Fluence Signature h umbuckers are used, which elicit diverse metal sounds from the guitar amplifier with multiple voicings. The Fishman Fluence Custom Series Matt Heafy humbucker on the bridge, equipped with ceramic magnets, accordingly stands for a Modern Active sound with maximum Output and tight response even with drop tunings and high distortion, or for an extremely powerful sound with the organic Attack of passive pickups. The Fluence Custom Series Matt Heafy Alnico neck pickup, on the other hand, delivers a full and finely articulated sound in Modern Active mode, while the second crisp voicing provides the perfect foundation for fluid soloing. For both Fishman Fluence Matt Heafy humbuckers, a single-coil vo icing is also available for glassy pearly tones.

Naturally, the Epiphone Les Paul Custom Origins 7-String is equipped with Matt Heafy's signature Fishman Fluence pickups. These pickups offer multiple voicings to elicit a wide array of metal tones. The Fishman Fluence Custom Series Matt Heafy bridge humbucker, equipped with ceramic magnets, provides a Modern Active tone with maximum output and a tight response, even in drop tunings and under high distortion. It also delivers an organic attack reminiscent of passive pickups. The Fluence Custom Series Matt Heafy Alnico neck pickup, in contrast, offers a full, articulate sound in Modern Active mode, with a second voicing that is perfect for fluid soloing. Additionally, both pickups feature a single-coil voicing for bright, glassy tones ideal for clean passages.
