Two active Seymour Duncan AHB-1 Blackout humbuckers in neck and bridge position of the Jackson X Series Rhoads RRX24 can be adjusted with two controls each for volume and tone and a three-way switch. The result is a modern metal sound with decent output and aggressiveness. Furthermore, a Floyd Rose Special Double Locking Vibrato bridge provides long Sustain and sound stability.

The striking shape of the Jackson X Series Rhoads RRX24 is composed of a poplar body and a full-length maple neck in a nimble 'speed neck' design. The fingerboard made of Indian Laurel wood is equipped with Jackson Sharkfin inlays and offers optimal playing characteristics in all positions thanks to the compound radius. The body of this Rhoads is rounded off with a Satin-Finish in Purple Metallic and black brevels, while the Hardware and headstock are finished in matching black for a unique look that appropriately underscores the instrument's powerful tone.
