The Absinthe is a beautifully balanced guitar, making it easy to reach the higher frets. Just like its name, inspired by a captivating psychedelic drink, it’s a modern, high-end guitar that opens up your musical world.

Limits String Transient Vibrations

With our new individual head string locks and single-string monorail tuners, the Absinthe helps reduce string transient vibrations. The tuners with floating saddles and the single-string head locks are designed to not touch each other, which creates a wooden jazz tone. It also sounds bold when you push it.

This gives you a more natural sustain and tone, really bringing out the wood’s unique qualities. The extra thickness adds stability, mass, and tonal richness, while also giving you a full headstock feel when you play it open.

EMG Sound

For the pickups, we teamed up with a respected American company, EMG. We gave them creative freedom, and we included coil split options, so you can get a wide variety of tones.

Superb Playability Wood

The fretboard is made of dense African Ebony, which has amazing presence, clarity, and volume, plus a huge dynamic range. The body and neck are made of 5-piece maple and mahogany stingers. The body has swamp ash wings.

It comes with either a fixed bridge or our Alchemy tremolo system. We also have the Sophia tremolo as an option. All Bootlegger guitars are built with graphite nut and come with a hard case.

It responds wonderfully to different playing styles, giving you strong bass and lower mids, along with clear, bright highs. The beautiful, multi-colored grain adds a touch of visual beauty to the body.
