A limited-production model featuring a tortoiseshell pickguard has been added to the highly cost-effective Universe series!

This model is a limited-production version of the long-selling "BJB-1-RSM" model, featuring a tortoiseshell pickguard, a classic customization option. Combined with carefully selected vintage colors, it achieves a look that rivals higher-end models. The fretboard uses rosewood, a first for the BJB-1-RSM, and is characterized by a more mellow and resonant sound compared to a maple fretboard.

The roasted maple used for the neck is a material whose rigidity is increased by heating it at high temperatures to evaporate the moisture and oils within the wood. When used in a neck, this effect extends not only to stability but also to the sound, producing a rich, resonant tone and a mature, aged vintage-like tone. This high-quality specification, often used in high-end models, has been incorporated into a reasonably priced range, making it a recommended model for those who want to start playing bass!
