This Les Paul Standard harks back to the legendary Les Paul models of the '50s and combines all the features that made the world's most influential electric guitar such an enduring success: A combination of classic tonewoods with vintage pickups and top-notch hardware.

Like the coveted 1950s originals, this Paula comes with a non-weight-reduced mahogany body and maple top. Together with the cream-colored neck and body bindings and matching pickguard, the look immediately evokes the beauty of the most sought-after Les Pauls of all time. Together with the one-piece mahogany neck with a stronger '50s neck profile and rosewood fingerboard with the traditional trapezoid mother-of-pearl inlays, the Gleaming chrome hardware and classic Gibson Deluxe Vintage tuners with green knobs provide the guitar a timeless vintage vibe.

In terms of sound, a pair of Gibson Burstbucker humbucker pickups elicits the classic, powerful Les Paul sound. The guitar has excellent sustain and plenty of tonal depth and sharpness for authentic rock sounds of all kinds!

A sound sample of the model can be found above at the end of the photo gallery.

The chunkier '50s mahogany neck sits nicely in the hand and together with the 43mm wide nut and the short 628mm scale length results in excellent playability.
