A very rare 1994 Gibson Les Paul Special Double Cut in TV Yellow. This guitar is from the early 90's, known as Gibson’s "Good Wood" era. The guitar is crafted from high quality mahogany with a very beautiful grain. The guitar is in exceptionally good condition, especially for a 32-year-old vintage instrument. There is only very minimal fret wear and very slight signs of use on the back (impossibke for me to capture in photos). Guitar is from the same year as the Gibson Les Paul Centennial Edition 100th Anniversary, and is essentially the same quality, but without the extra bling. The quality and craftmanship are very close to current Gibson Custom Shop models and significantly superior to current Gibson USA offerings, as evidenced for instance by the perfect binding work (see photos). It features great-sounding P90 pickups and comes in a new Gibson USA hard case. A great opportunity to acquire a very rare vintage Gibson, of great quality, in near-mint condition, for a price between current USA and Custom Shop models.
