Yamaha RX11 Digital Rhythm Programmer – Made in Japan – 100V – Tested & WorkingClassic 1984 Yamaha RX11 Digital Rhythm Programmer, made in Japan. This is the original early Yamaha PCM drum machine that helped define the sound of countless 1980s recordings and vintage electronic music productions. The RX11 has a wonderfully distinctive character that is very different from modern drum machines — punchy, slightly gritty, and unmistakably early-digital Yamaha. This particular unit is the Japanese-market 100V version. It is being sold with a step-down transformer (110–130V to 100V, 60Hz), so it can be safely operated from standard U.S. household power.ConditionVery Good overall vintage condition and fully functional. The unit shows the normal signs of age and use you would expect from a 40+ year-old piece of studio equipment, but it presents well and is a great-looking example for a vintage studio, collector, or electronic-music setup. All functions have been tested, including the controls, sounds, pattern/song functions, and outputs. Please examine all photos carefully for the exact cosmetic condition of this particular unit.RX11 Features• Made in Japan• 1984 vintage Yamaha digital rhythm machine• 29 PCM voices• 100 programmable patterns• 10 song memories• Real-time and step programming• MIDI In / MIDI Out• Individual instrument outputs• External clock/synchronization capability• Cassette interface for data storage• Cartridge interface• 16-character LCD display• Classic Yamaha early-PCM drum soundsThe RX11 is also particularly interesting from a vintage-studio perspective because of its individual instrument outputs and MIDI connectivity, making it much more than simply a preset rhythm box.Included• Yamaha RX11 Digital Rhythm Programmer• Step-down transformer for operation from U.S. 110–130V power to the RX11's required 100V• I can send you the PDF manual after the sale along with a folder full of cassette patterns and PDF pattern bookPlease note: This is the original Japanese 100V version, not the U.S. 120V model.
