ESP LTD GH-SV Gary Holt Electric Guitar in Black
The GH-SV delivers a comfortable, fast-playing experience with its offset body geometry and thin U-shaped neck profile that minimize fatigue during extended lead and rhythm work. This Gary Holt signature model pairs aggressive tonal character with reliable professional-grade hardware, making it a practical choice for players working in heavy music genres that demand both clarity and sustain.
Playability & Construction
Neck-thru-body construction with a three-piece mahogany neck and mahogany body with maple cap provides stability and resonance across the 24.75" scale length. The offset ESP SV body shape creates an ergonomic platform balanced for comfort, while the macassar ebony fingerboard with 22 extra-jumbo stainless steel frets supports rapid position shifts and aggressive playing styles.
Tone & Electronics
Direct-mount active EMG 89R neck pickup with coil-splitting push-pull volume knob and active EMG 81 bridge pickup deliver the thick, cutting tones required for heavy riffing and lead work. The double-locking Floyd Rose 1000 tremolo system and Grover locking tuners with 42mm locking nut ensure stable tuning and reliable performance during extended playing sessions.
