About this listing
We love Boss and Roland Products at Route 66 Music! The Waza Craft Series is Unmatched! The Boss Katana Artist Gen 3 is the flagship model in the Katana amplifier lineup, a 100-watt 1x12" combo amp designed for professional and versatile performance, from home practice to stage gigs. Here's a detailed description based on the latest information:Key Features and DesignPower and Speaker: Delivers 100 watts through a custom-designed Waza G12W 12-inch speaker, tuned to emulate the punch, richness, and harmonics of a classic British 25W stack speaker (think vintage Greenback through a Marshall). The semi-closed cabinet enhances low-end focus and midrange fullness.Tube Logic Technology: Utilizes Boss’s proprietary Tube Logic architecture, which models the behavior of individual tube-amp components for authentic tone, dynamics, and responsiveness. This gives it a feel closer to a tube amp, with nuanced response to techniques like tapping and palm-muting.Amp Voicings: Offers six amp characters—Acoustic, Clean, Pushed, Crunch, Lead, and Brown (inspired by high-gain tones like Van Halen’s Waza head). Each has a Variation switch for alternate voicings (e.g., brighter or tighter tones), providing 12 core tones. The new Pushed mode delivers a driven clean tone with mild breakup, ideal for dynamic playing.
