The Line 6 FM4 Filter Modeler is a wonderfully strange and inspiring filter pedal, packed with everything from envelope-filter funk and parked-wah tones to vocal-style sweeps, sample-and-hold movement, and synth-like textures.

It is one of those pedals that can be subtle when you need it to be, but it really shines when you want your guitar or bass to step outside the usual pedalboard sounds. The four footswitch memories make it easy to keep favorite settings ready, and the stereo input/output setup gives plenty of flexibility for both stage and studio use.

The FM4 is especially fun for players who like expressive filter movement, experimental rock, funk, ambient, noise, or synth-flavored guitar parts. It has a very hands-on feel, and small knob changes can lead to completely different characters, which is part of its charm.

Please note that this pedal requires the correct 9VAC power supply. A standard 9V DC pedal adapter is not suitable.
