With the SE Chleo, PRS delivers a modern, high-performance electric guitar in collaboration with DragonForce guitarist Herman Li, bringing many features of the exclusive Limited model to a more accessible price point. The SE version combines PRS craftsmanship with the uncompromising demands of a shred virtuoso, making it perfect for anyone seeking an expressive guitar for intense playing. The mahogany body features a maple top with a fine curly maple veneer and an eye-catching satin finish. Ergonomic contours provide low weight, perfect balance, and high playing comfort, ideal for long sessions or live performances. The maple neck with a flat Chleo profile feels smooth in the hand and allows effortless soloing over the ebony fingerboard with a 20" radius and striking Eclipse Dragon inlays.
The SE Chleo delivers a versatile sound palette with two active Fishman Fluence Signature humbuckers and an Omniforce Herman Li single coil in the middle position, covering everything from transparent cleans to aggressive high-gain leads. Control is via volume and tone knobs with push/pull function, along with a 5-way switch, enabling a wide range of pickup combinations.
For maximum performance, the guitar is equipped with a Floyd Rose 1000 Locking tremolo, which guarantees precise tuning stability even with extreme whammy bar use. The equipment is complemented by PRS tuners and locking saddles. The smoked black hardware underlines the overall visual appearance of the instrument and, in combination with its Satin-Finish, makes it a classy piece of jewelry that is a real eye-catcher on any stage.
