The Fender Jim Adkins JA-90 Telecaster Thinline Natural from the Fender Artist Series delivers authentic punk rock sounds. The iconic signature instrument of the Jimmy Eat World frontman is modelled on Jim’s modified Fender TC-90 Telecaster and features a semi-hollow ash body and a laminated maple neck. The slim Modern-C profile and a flat headstock ensure ideal playability across all 22 frets of the laurel fingerboard. For hot, hot-rodded sounds, two Seymour Duncan SP90 soapbar pickups are used; their wide coil windings produce a powerful tone with just the right amount of bite. In addition, the neck pickup is reverse-wound and reverse-polarised, allowing the middle position of the 3-way switch to produce particularly rich double-coil sounds without any unwanted noise. Last but not least, the FENDER Jim Adkins JA-90 Telecaster Thinline Natural features solid and resonant hardware in the form of a 6-saddle Adjusto-Matic bridge, an anchored tailpiece and tuning-stable Fender tuners with a chrome finish.
