Kay Value Leader- 3 pick ups 1962-1963 - lacquer

FOR SALE: From my own collection a  made in the US of A cult classic

I give you ...the '62-63 Kay Value Leader with the 3 'pancake' pick-ups is cooler than cool (ice cool!) and has a rocking, bluesy sound.

This one is in very good shape for its age, with fully functional electronics* and a nice medium fat neck.

*(Today when plugged her in I noticed position 3 is not playing clearly/noisy-I think solder joint will need checking on pot/harness-I will deduct Euro 100 from Buyers price for them to have this checked)

It's a fully hollow body guitar, so nice and light, as well as lively tonal range without feedback.

Because it does not have F-Holes, it's got a good resistance to feedback. A great guitar for blues, garage rock or experimental art rock.

Condition: very good, with some scuffs and scratches. Fully original

Its presented in a Sunburst finish. All original with a lightweight, singlecutaway thinline maple body with  3x chrome covered pickups, 3x Volume/-3x Tone controls and a four-way switch for a variety of settings. Great medium fat neck with a hard-rock maple fretboard, great playbility. Sounds nice, electrified and unplugged. Incl. black hard case case.
