The Fender Highway Dreadnought All Mahogany at a glance

The Fender Highway Dreadnought All Mahogany is the ideal compromise between absolutely comfortable handling and fat acoustic sound. Its super slim thinline body with solid mahogany top and solid mahogany back and sides results in an assertive sound that can be amplified on stage or in the recording studio thanks to the high-quality Fishman pickup system. At the same time, the dreadnought Western guitar also delivers an attractive Natural Satin finish with visual highlights in the form of the characteristic Fender headstock, a Single-Ply-Binding and a matching single-ring rosette that give the instrument a harmonious and elegant look. The included gig bag allows furthermore a comfortable transport to the gig, Studio or rehearsal.

Innovative body shape meets classic tonewood

Despite its ergonomic and slim thinline body, acoustic enthusiasts don't have to sacrifice the full sound of a dreadnought Western guitar with the Fender Highway Dreadnought All Mahogany. With the revolutionary tapered-floating X-bracing and solid tonewoods, the model features excellent vibration characteristics that give the sound the assertiveness it needs and make for powerful, expressive tones. Meanwhile, the sound character is created by the top, back and sides made of solid mahogany, which produces a full, warm tone with present mids that has always been appreciated in guitar making.

Ergonomic design and robust hardware

The compact thinline body is complemented by another premium feature in the form of a grippy mahogany neck with a comfortable 'C' profile. Due to its acceptable weight in combination with high stability, mahogany is one of the preferred tonewoods for guitar necks that require special demands in terms of robustness and comfort. Thus, thanks to this advantageous construction, the picking hand glides over the rosewood fingerboard as if by itself and can effortlessly master even complex fingering patterns. At the same time, the compensated bridge inlay guarantees flawless intonation, while Fender ClassicGear tuners of proven quality ensure high tuning stability.

Feedback-resistant Fishman pickup system.

Meanwhile, uninterrupted amplified playing is made possible by the original Fishman Fluence pickup, which successfully eliminates annoying noise and Feedback. This is ensured by two multilayer circuit boards, the so-called Fluence Core, which are used instead of the usual wound copper wire coils, thus raising the amplification of acoustic guitars to the next Level.
