The Radial JDI Premium Passive DI is considered by many to be the world’s finest direct box. It is a passive DI that employs a Jensen isolation transformer for optimum audio performance offering outstanding linearity at all frequencies, combined with extraordinary level handling without introducing distortion. Being completely passive, the plug & play JDI does not require any powering and has the unique advantage of eliminating 60-cycle ground loops. The Radial JDI Passive Direct Box is equipped with 2x Jensen Transformers to gracefully handle transients whilst still delivering a smooth, warm Bessel curve. With a signal bandwidth from 10Hz-40kHz and virtually zero phase deviation, the JDI Passive delivers a natural pure instrument sound.

Also capable of eliminating hum and buzz from ground loops, this DI box contains 100% passive circuitry and performs high-to-low impedance conversion and signal balancing. The Jensen Transformer also includes a magnetic bridge that passes signal whilst rejecting stray DC voltage. With ¼" connectors, a -15dB input pad, ground lift, and 180° polarity reverse, the JDI Passive is built to handle abusive touring schedules thanks to a steel frame.
