The Zildjian K' Constantinople 22" Ride Cymbal is a 22" ride cymbal, made of cast bronze, an alloy consisting of 80% copper and 20% tin. The K' Series remains the benchmark to this day as it is constantly the subject of development and optimization, while the metal composition and hand craftsmanship remains an unchanged family secret. The new K' Series undergoes a new and improved hammering and receives an additional lathing on the top and bottom surfaces with a vintage-style bell. These new features give the cymbal not only its universally esteemed dark and warm tone, but also give the sound over-tone nuances. The look of the K' Series is reminiscent of the original due to the additional lathing which gives the cymbal a note of tradition and nostalgia. Finally the careful and thoughtful hand craftsmanship of the most proficient cymbal forgers of the world makes the K' Series cymbals what they are. This ride cymbal provides plenty of give, texture and "crashability"; as well as a combination of top articulation and bottom spread that provides excellent stick articulation; higher in pitch.
