KoAloha KSM-00 2011

KoAloha KSM-00 Soprano Ukulele – All Koa – Red Tuners – Excellent Player

A beautiful KoAloha KSM-00 soprano ukulele, made entirely from Koa.

This is a wonderfully lively and resonant instrument with the bright, open and unmistakable KoAloha sound. It is currently fitted with fluorocarbon strings and plays very comfortably.

One particularly nice feature is the set of distinctive red tuners, which suit the instrument extremely well and give it a very characteristic KoAloha look.

Condition:
Overall, the ukulele is in very good to excellent cosmetic condition.

There is one small area worth mentioning: just below the bridge, where the strings are anchored to the body, there is a slight indentation / deformation caused by the string tension. It does not affect playability, tuning stability or sound and has remained purely cosmetic in use. I have tried to show it clearly in the photos.

Apart from this, the instrument is in excellent condition.

The ukulele is made entirely from Koa, which is one of the things I particularly like about it. It has that typical KoAloha combination of clarity, volume and a slightly “island-like” brightness.

I am selling it simply because I have moved more and more towards vintage ukuleles and therefore hardly play this one anymore.

A great example of a classic KoAloha soprano – light, responsive and full of character.
