2022 Gretsch Masterbuilt Stephen Stern G6128-CS '62 Duo Jet - Motor City Blue

Stunning Custom Shop Gretsch '62 Duo Jet – by acclaimed masterbuilder Stephen Stern.

The ageing on this guitar is exceptional - very authentic and covered in lacquer checking on close inspection that looks fantastic as it catches the light (see close-up photo where we've tried to illustrate this in more details).

It's in near-mint condition - with just 2 exceptionally minor blemishes, one on the edge, and 1 near the tuning peg (both pictured). Neither is noticeable unless you are searching for them.

This '62 Duo Jet has a chambered mahogany body with arched maple top gives it that lovely mix of snap, weight relief and airy response. The ebony board and thumbnail inlays look great while the TV Jones Classic Filter'tron pickups deliver that crisp, articulate Gretsch tones without ever sounding thin. It has a comfortable 50s style C profile, open gear tuners and a Bigbsy vibrato tailpiece.
