The Fredric Effects Regent 150 Preamp is a guitar preamp pedal that recreates a preamp used in East Germany in the 1970s.

It uses a charge-pump circuit to match the voltage of the original amp and NOS transistors to recreate that vintage character.

The Regent 150 Preamp encapsulates the preamp and EQ circuits of the Vermona Regent 150K?a 1970s East German amplifier used everywhere from studios and stages to bedrooms?into a single pedal.
This pedal does not produce distortion. It is a preamp with a slightly lo-fi, somewhat punk-inspired character.
The treble control adds a glassy sparkle and delicacy to clean tones, while boosting the bass with the bass control adds warmth without muddying the sound.
The tone, which has a subtle overall compression, can be placed at the end of your pedalboard and left on constantly, or used to boost your amp or other pedals.

Controls
Volume: Adjusts the overall volume.
Treble: Adjusts the high frequencies.
Bass: Adjusts the low frequencies.

The Regent 150 Preamp is powered by a standard 9V DC center-negative adapter or a 9V battery.
It shows minimal signs of use and operates without any issues.
