Godin 5th Avenue Kingpin P90 – 2009 – Cognac Burst – Excellent Condition

A stunning example of Godin’s flagship archtop, this 2009 5th Avenue Kingpin P90 is in excellent condition and ready to play. Owned from new, gigged only once, and kept in a smoke-free home — this guitar is as clean as they come.

The 16” hollow body is crafted from Canadian Wild Cherry with cream binding on both the top and back, finished in a beautiful Cognac Burst with a custom polished satin sheen. It’s a genuinely handsome guitar that turns heads on stage and off.

The single Godin Kingpin P90 at the neck delivers that classic warm, woody archtop tone with just the right amount of bite — perfect for jazz, blues, rockabilly, or vintage rock and roll. Simple and effective electronics: one volume, one tone, nothing to get in the way.

The Silver Leaf Maple neck with rosewood fingerboard is an absolute pleasure to play — 21 medium frets, a comfortable 1.72” nut width, and a 16” radius that suits both chordal work and single-note runs. The GraphTech TUSQ nut and adjustable TUSQ bridge ensure excellent intonation and sustain, while the trapeze tailpiece and asymmetric tuning machines (18:1 bass side, 26:1 treble) keep things precise and stable.

Currently strung with Newtone Archtop Double Wound strings (.011–.050) — a premium choice that suits this guitar beautifully.

Comes complete with the original Godin TRIC case in equally excellent condition.
