With the PRS SE DGT Moons Gold Top, PRS brings the popular Dave Grissom Signature into the affordable SE series for the first time. The model is closely based on its US core counterpart and adopts all the tonal and playing fine-tuning that the experienced session guitarist has developed over the years. A sturdy mahogany body in the McCarty style forms the basis, complemented by a solid maple top with an elegant Gold top varnish. The set mahogany neck in the characteristic "DGT" profile ensures a pleasant playing feel, while the 22-fret rosewood fingerboard with moon inlays underlines the typical PRS look. Two PRS DGT "S" humbuckers are used for the right sound, which deliver authentic vintage sounds with their moderate Output and can also be split into clear single-coil sounds thanks to the push/pull function. Separate volume controls for each pickup also enable precise sound tuning. The equipment is rounded off by a PRS Designed Tremolo and reliable die-cast tuners, which ensure robust tuning and precise response.
