Atlansia Oscar 4B Bass (Made in Japan)

The Atlansia Oscar 4B Bass is a Japanese-made instrument featuring a completely original body design.

Atlansia was founded in 1978 by Nobuaki Hayashi after leaving Matsumoku, and has since become known for producing uniquely designed instruments unlike anything else in the world. Hayashi is also known for designing the Aria Pro II PE series.

This model features a highly distinctive construction, with individually separated pickups, nut, and bridge for each string, resulting in a truly unconventional design.

Atlansia basses are also known for their notably thick neck profiles. While this may feel quite different from standard basses, the playability is surprisingly comfortable, allowing for extended playing without fatigue.

With a design philosophy not seen in other brands, this instrument reflects a forward-thinking approach well ahead of its time.

Controls are simple and practical: Volume, Tone, and Balancer.
