Up for sale is a 1985 Pimentel W-15 classical guitar, handcrafted in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Pimentel guitars are known for their quality American craftsmanship and warm, articulate tone, and this one is no exception. It has a rich, balanced voice with great clarity and responsiveness — equally at home for classical, fingerstyle, or light crossover playing.

This example has been upgraded with an LR Baggs pickup, making it a fantastic option for live performance or recording without sacrificing its natural acoustic character.

Condition-wise, this is a well-played but structurally solid instrument. There are a couple of visible gouges on the top, but these are not cracks — I’ve verified that there is no separation (no light passes through and the top remains solid under pressure). Aside from that, there is typical cosmetic wear including light scratches and small dings consistent with age.

The neck feels great and the guitar plays comfortably with a lively, open response.

A great opportunity to pick up a USA-made Pimentel with added versatility from the pickup.
