Vintage RARE 1930's TC-2 microphone floor stand 33D 22D 25D Emco Atlas Shure

You are looking at a very rare and collectible floor stand from the 1930's manufactured The Turner Microphone company called the TC-2 model that has the thick cast iron base, chrome base cover and two piece adjustable polished chrome risers. 

 This stand has a deco design with a touch of elegance and practical for all small, medium and larger sized microphones. A Shure 55 or RCA 77DX model is not too top heavy for this stand and the TC-2 will compliment any older mic you have.

 Pic # 2 shows this very model as well as the TC-3 with the 3 piece riser model.

 This stand is so rare that this is the only example I have ever seen or come across. It does show a bit of wear but it's a complete model The chrome risers and base plate can always be rechromed if need be but it has plenty of "character" as is.

 The stand weighs roughly 15 pounds and is adjustable from 40 inches (low) to 69 inches tall which is ideal for both adults and children.

 The two chrome risers are made of brass with a polished chrome finish but the risers shows a bit of wear exposing the brass beneath. The risers are free of any dents however. The clutch mechanism works great. No issues.

 The chrome base cover for the base is made of stamped steel and there is a lot of corrosion but it too is free of any dents or fractures. The cast iron base has very lite rust on the bottom of the base. There were 6 pads on this stand but most were missing so I decided to add 6 new rubber bumper pads and they work great for this stand. They are properly screwed into the base as well. Despite the physical wear I'd still rate the stand a true 5 + on a scale of 1 - 10. 

 If you are looking for something different to use or to display your special older mic with...this stand will do nicely. You'll probably never see another TC-2 listed on Ebay or Reverb ever again.
